              Difficulties can appear as obstacles in our life. Sometimes difficulties manifest the Lord's discipline. Sin and rebellion never produce positive results. When we suffer in discipline, we remember that the path of obedience to God is an easier path to walk.

              Even if difficulties arise from discipline or a world of sin, God could use them for good (Rom. 8:28). We have plenty of examples in the Bible that show how God used bad situations to accomplish something good. Ruth is one example of this principle.
